Now Playing: Cheap energy is from Jesus Christ
Topic: why this and why now
The Orphanage
My interest in Blogs was peaked last year when I served full time at the mission in Vicente Guerrero.
Visitors came and worked hard. They bonded with the children and made special relationships. When these messengers of Christ returned to their homes, there was no simple way to reconnect. Why not blog?
Visitors came and worked hard. They identified specific needs. They saw we needed tools, materials or supplies. When they returned home, there was no simple way to respond to the needs. Why not blog?
Visitors are always contacted for donations of money. They do respond and the children are better for it. But why not blog?
Awestruck Ministries
Bryon Cobb and crew travel from Florida to Baja every two months. They reach the unreached. Bryon's groups visit where no church or missionary has been for over 200 years!
Bryon brings people together from all over the nation to go to the unreached in Baja. Why not blog?
Political Mission
How can we get real news when the managed news ABC CNN NBC all report to their same corporate masters?
Many Christians rely on commentators such as James Dobson and Pat Robertson for another look at the news.
When Pat Robertson called for the assination (by covert US military forces) of the President of Venezula, I just wanted to blog!
Energy Revolution
The shift away from fossil fuels is driving a green revolution mostly outside the US.
Maybe it is all the millions the oil and gas people gave to George Bush to elect him but that is not the point for now.
The average person in the US understands that the price of energy, whether to drive his car, maintain her home or to create her goods, makes us all feel something needs to be done. Something that is unlikely to be done by the oilman from Texas and his pal from Haliburton.
Outside the US, people want to experience the life for themselves and their families that cheap energy can give them. For clean and cheap energy, in the name of Christ, blog on!!
